Harry Potter Mania

I am a lover of the Potter books. Is anyone else out there? My favorite one is the 6th - Half Blood Prince... I felt like it had a great balance of action and plot movement. Lots of twists and turns kept my interest and the end really surprised me... did anyone else feel that way?

Walter Dean Myers - Monster and others

Craig posted that he isn't really liking Monster because it is confusing... are other people having that experience? What are some strategies any else used to get through Monster?

Personally, I always liked Steve's character and his journal entries helped to keep my interest throughout the novel.

What are you reading?

I wanted to create a forum where we can start talking about the good or bad books we are reading... this will be a fun forum to talk about what we read and make connections between books and ourselves...

lots of text to self, text to text and text to world connections to be made....

happy posting...
